Terms of Service

Footlads is a booking platform. We connect players with the people who own or manage sports venues and the people who organise games (“organisers”). We provide the software that lets organisers list venues and games and lets players find and book them. We are a service provider only. We are not a party to any booking, agreement, or transaction between you and an organiser.

Footlads does not process, collect, hold, or transfer any payment. When you book a venue or join a game, you pay the organiser directly, outside the App, using a method you and the organiser arrange. We do not operate a payment gateway, hold funds, or act as an escrow or intermediary for money.

Any payment status shown in the App (for example, “paid” or a reference number) is a record kept by the organiser or entered by you for convenience. It is not a payment made through Footlads, and we do not verify it. Because we never handle your money:

• We do not issue refunds. Any refund is a matter between you and the organiser.
• We are not responsible for a payment that is not made, is made incorrectly, or is disputed.
• A “refunded” label in the App is only a record; it does not mean money has moved through us, because it never does.

Any dispute about a booking, a payment, the condition or availability of a venue, the conduct of a game, or anything else arising between a player and an organiser is solely between those parties. Footlads is not responsible for resolving such disputes, and does not guarantee any booking, venue, game, organiser, or user. We may, but are not obliged to, help the parties communicate.

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If you register as an organiser, you confirm that you are entitled to list the venues and organise the games you publish.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
• Post false, misleading, offensive, or infringing content, including in venue listings, game details, or chat;
• Impersonate another person, or list a venue or game you have no right to;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems;
• Use another user’s contact details, obtained through the App, for any purpose other than arranging or resolving a booking.

We may suspend or remove any account or content that breaches these Terms.

If you list a venue or organise a game, you are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, the availability and condition of your venue, your dealings with players, and collecting and handling any payment directly. You understand that your name and contact details will be shown to users who view your venue or game so they can reach you. You are responsible for complying with any law or licence that applies to your activity.

You keep ownership of the content you post (such as venue photos, descriptions, and messages). By posting it, you grant Footlads a licence to store, display, and use it as needed to operate the App. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post what you post.

We provide the App “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these Terms from time to time; when we make a significant change we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, ask you to accept the updated Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Footlads is not liable for any loss or damage arising from: your dealings with an organiser or another user; any payment made or not made outside the App; the condition, safety, availability, or cancellation of any venue or game; any content posted by users; or your inability to use the App. Because we are a service provider that never handles payments and is not a party to any booking, any risk in a booking or payment rests with the user and organiser, not with Footlads.

You agree to indemnify Footlads against any claim, loss, or cost arising from your use of the App, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with another user.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute between you and Footlads relating to the App or these Terms is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
